The HiNovel Privacy Policy describes how HiNovel treat personal information when you use HiNovel services.

Data Collection

HiNovel may collect limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This log information may include but not limited to your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use this information to operate, develop and improve our services.

Some of our services require you to register for an account. HiNovel asks you for some personal information in order to create an account (typically your name, email address and a password for your account) and we will use that information to provide the service.

HiNovel allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within HiNovel. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on HiNovel. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content you see.

HiNovel does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.

You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers or ad networks for more information on their practices and for instructions on how to opt-out of certain practices. HiNovel’s privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or websites. Any data obtained by third-party ad servers subsequently shared with HiNovel is maintained and dealt with by HiNovel in accordance with this privacy policy.

E.g : If you log in to HiNovel with your facebook account, when you remove the HiNovel app from your device, you can do this by going to your Facebook profile and clicking the Send Request button on the Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites page, to requests the HiNovel delete your data.

HiNovel’s privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or websites. Any data obtained by third-party ad servers subsequently shared with HiNovel is maintained and dealt with by HiNovel in accordance with this privacy policy.
